Returns and Refunds

1. 14-day withdrawal right
If you are an EU consumer buying online, you generally have 14 days to withdraw from the contract without giving a reason. For goods, the period normally starts the day after you or a person nominated by you receives the goods. For services, it normally starts the day after the contract is concluded.
To withdraw, email hello@essentialshub.eu with your order number, name, email address, product details, and a clear statement that you wish to withdraw.
2. Returning goods
You should send the goods back within 14 days after telling us that you withdraw. Goods should be returned with reasonable care and, where possible, in original packaging. You may be responsible for diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.

3. Refund timing
Refunds should be made without undue delay and normally within 14 days of being informed of the withdrawal. For goods, we may wait until we receive the returned goods or you provide evidence that you sent them back, whichever happens first.
The refund should include the product price and standard outbound delivery cost if charged. Extra costs for a delivery method more expensive than the least expensive standard delivery option may not be refunded unless required by law.
4. Common exceptions
The withdrawal right may not apply to certain products, including goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised, sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed, goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly, sealed audio/video/software once unsealed, and digital content or services started under specific consent and acknowledgement rules.
For PPE, this may include sealed disposable masks, respirators, gloves, gowns, face shields, and PPE kits once opened or contaminated. Product pages and checkout should clearly state which items are affected before purchase.
Essentialshub.eu must clearly identify product-specific exceptions before checkout.
5. Faulty or non-conforming goods
Your statutory rights are separate from the withdrawal right. EU consumers have legal guarantee protections where goods are faulty, not as described, or do not perform as expected. Remedies may include repair, replacement, price reduction, or refund depending on the circumstances and applicable law.
